Hey guys,
So awhile back I made a post about dealing with a misfire in a 1995 Mazda B2300 1995. I took the top of the crankcase off and found what has been causing all my issues. My 4th cylinder rocker arm had fallen off from the camshaft rotation.
I figured it would be a lengthy fix, but I showed some pictures to the guys at O'Reilly and the saw I had a scratch on the camshaft. Which led them to tell me I had to replace the whole camshaft, or for a easier process the whole head. From what I've seen online they seem to be correct.
So i guess my question now is can I just realign the rocker arm with the camshaft and ride it out until I can sell it? Or is it better to just take that one arm out completely so it stops scarring the camshaft. I will upload pictures later, i'm at work right now.
