Ive kinda been cursed with ECMs....my ranger and bronco had bad ones too. They both ran but also did weird shit. Ive kinda learned whenever theres stuff going on that makes no sense its usually computer related lol.

Only reason i held off so long on this one was its not just plug and go like the old ones

Well to put a hat on this whole thing....hopefully...

Got the new(used) PCM programmed to the car today....got both keys hooked up to make Mr PATS happy....and so far it seems to of resolved the issues.

I took it out put about 20 mi on it. It did buck about half throttle the first few times i got down that far...but eventually straightend up. Either the PCM was learning or its the 2 month old fuel. But the missing is totally gone. Full throttle starts are fine now.

All in all i think i got this part of it licked...but time will tell.

Now onto the front end.
