Hey all.
I have a 93 ranger with the 4.0. I have been getting around 16mpgs with it and i don't think that's to bad but last tank i got 11.6mpgs with it and i am not sure whats wrong, that's why i came to trs.
It has new plugs, wires, air filter, oil change, and a clean iac valve. I was looking in the engine bay today trying to figure out the problem and i found this
In case you cant tell by the pics the wire comes out of the harness that connects to the coil pack
Tried to find out where the other end of the wire was and couldn't find anything in the engine bay or in my Haynes manual.
It accelerates fine and idles fine around 900-1000 rpms. Ive been reading how to clean my maf. I herd one one site let the tips of it sit in a bowl of vinegar for like 2 hours then blow dry it off but that dosen't sound to good so i am not sure lol.
Thanks for your help.
