Mirror lights

so ever since i got my truck ive been trying to make it look like a full size. i put bigger tires on it, cab lights, and then i got the idea to put lights on the side mirrors like on the 350's. RSH did this but i wanted mine on the outside. so i bit the bullet and drilled holes into my perfectly good, brand new 06 mirrors...... wiring was annoying but i like the finished product.

i had originally sprayed a coat of nightshade on them to make them a darker amber but it makes the light come out yellowish. i might try to take off the night shade and just pain the inside light piece black to make it look darker but still be as bright. i think its cool.

it looks badass man. Nice work. i wanted mine that way, but i was afraid i could damage them on any mirror scratch. I already had one lol.

Those are LED or bulbs?

I think there are 3 Rangers with those mirrors and lights now on TRS.

yeah. its a 2 bulb (led) set up. the leds were so tiny but they were all in a big circular mount that extended past the back. hence the big hole. but that allowed them to be Low profile which i like. the 06 mirrors are collapsible so im not that worried about damage to them. but the fact that they were collapsible made wiring so stupid. im gonna get a picture of the slot i needed to make in them so the wire wouldnt get pinched when they folded.

you should throw some cab lights on your truck rsh. i think it would look sweet. but im a little biased on the subject. lol

Ohh i see.
Mine have 4 small leds.
At one time i was thinking about putting roof lights, but drilling the roof isnt a good idea for me haha. Besides, idk, i think its too short for them. Plus having the rollbar lights and roof lights will be too much.
