"Mini Me" Low COG B2 Crawler/Jumper Build

You made it out of northern Delaware alive! Thats an accomplishment haha.

Yea as soon as I clean and Organize my shop it becomes an instant mess again. Im trying to get this rolling asap so i can clean up and organize again, but Im going away for a week so updates will be delayed.

Haven't been in the shop much, went on vacation and then I had to find time to do my taxes.

So far I got the other side mocked up and ready to mount the coilover on. Gonna build the cross braces and stuff so I can mount the resi's on too.

Im gonna get out there tomorrow and get the rear all finished up so I can start on the front axle.

Spend Saturday making sure the rear was setup correctly, ended up with a 7* in and 7* back angle on the coilovers. I cut some gas pipe up and make stilts to hold the axle in place so I can use my mock up coilovers up front.

Next we tore the old front end i still have laying around up and got the beams out from under it. We placed the beams in the pivots on the chassis. I soon realized that I need to trim ALOT up front for the stretch to work.

Im so happy at the height its sitting at at ride height, but wait.. Im not at ride height yet... I still have 6" to go till the rear touches the ground!
The door handle is gonna be at my belly button (6' tall) at ride height on 40s. Im so stoked.

Still need to push the Steering box forward and re-design a passenger beam mount. For anyone that might want to do this, I can sell the bracketry once I know it works perfectly.

I do not know if I should cut out the whole sub frame in the front and tube it and hang whatever fenders from tube or just notch it out and make whatever work. Any suggestions?

This is Ride Height. I need to modify my drop brackets I think, they are 3.5" drops currently. I think I need to make them about 1.5-2" and cut the lower ball joints a bit and slide em out. I think I need more ground clearance.

Getting my measurements tonight and ordering my 2.5" King Coilovers tomorrow.

Got my coilovers order from Filthy Motorsports, Ben over there is the bomb. He discussed the whole build with me and we talked about the design and all. He set it up for my overall goal and even told me to find a way to add more weight to the rear.

Heres just some pics from recently.

Also got rid of the AC box and used my old ranger non-AC box so I have room for the coilover towers.

And finally said F it and got rid of the sides of the sub frame so its easier to work, ill end up doing a tube style front end anyway and trim the hood to fit.

Got the limit straps mocked up, was aiming for about 15* but id have to shave a lot more from the center joint, so I moved it up to 13* and I will only have to skim one side to make it work.

Was going to aim for 18" of travel, but I would have to notch the frame for more up travel, im maxed on down travel for the center link.

how well do you clear the frame?

My jeep is a low COG build on 39s, and I'm still rubbing the frame a bit even with the spacers.

What kind of tune are you running for the front?

I clear the frame all places but when the tires turn toward the front of the frame, they hit the front body mount. But that is being removed.

Im running a 14" king 2.5 CO with 300/300 springs and Idk the valving Filthy motorsports suggested a valving for the type of rig it is

that seems a little stiff for a TTB rig, but I've never seen valving for one in real life. Very curious how it'll work out for you, and filthy knows what they're doing
