Are they good bad worth the money? I want a winch but cant pay $600 for a warn. Any feed back will be helpfull.

thanks in advance......

I've had good luck with the PE8000 model. Ask Will about them. He managed to break them but he can break anything without popping a sweat.
:icon_rofl:

I thought Will broke one of those crappy Harbor Freight winches?

Bunch of guys have them up here in Alaska and I have not heard to many complaints from the smaller rigs like Rangers, BII's, Xj's and the like. I run a Warn 8724 on my Gen 1. spendy but tuff.

i have had good luck with mine...pulled a semi out of the ditch one day....also my control handle crapped out...they guys from mile marker set me up with a new one....great service!!! i would say it is well worth it

I've got a 9000 on my Ranger and haven't had any complaints. Its slower than the WARNs, but its strong.....

I had the E9000 for a couple of years and other than being slow it never let m edown. I used it to winch 5 chevy out of creak, one right after the other and it didn't crap out, get that hot or anything.

It was just too slow for me so I sold it and got the SE9500, it is MUCH MUCH faster. I have only used it a couple of times but It is much better than the 9000. I got it, with a lifetime UNLIMITED warranty, for $575 delivered...

I'd say go for it OR have you checked out the new 8000 lb smittybuilt winch... 4wheelparts is selling it for $299 right now...

Sorry Jim... As Jim he can probably get it also for a similar price....

Chris

I have never had a problem with my milemarker 8000. I have only used it a few times but it did the job no problem.

I thought Will broke one of those crappy Harbor Freight winches?

I think he's broken three of them....took him three years to do it and nobody demands as much from a winch as he does.....way beyond design limits.

Again....he can break anything.
