Stupid newbie question I know but would a cat back exhaust included a new mid pipe. Trying to fix an exhaust leak and upgrade at the same time. Was told by the shop I took my truck to the leak is in the mid pipe.

Truck is a 1998 Ranger XLT Extended cab with standard bed.

The kits should have everything needed from the converter back. You may need new bolts to attach the mid pipe to the converter. I had to do that with another vehicle I just did an install on.

The flange on the converter was rotted away to nothing too and had to buy one of those clamp on repair flanges to get everything bolted together. Otherwise, all the gaskets, hanger rubber, and hardware was there.
