The cute little brunette is turning out to be a keeper!
Last evening we went to her church, the Jefferson (GA) Church. It’s one of the more modern churches a little bit like a mega church, but it’s not so mega yet. Beautiful modern faithful song, and the Pastor‘s message was dead on the money.
He pointed out that while Christmas is a happy time, it is also a hectic time. He used his example of being with his wife and kids for two weeks, shopping and cooking and wrapping, etc. before Christmas. And of course, a lot of the rest of our lives are chaos. But he spoke about the message of Peace. I won’t repeat the whole sermon, but he wrapped up with the fact that we can never avoid the chaos, we can simply come to Peace with everything going on by accepting Christ into our souls and into our daily routine. It was great.
That wasn’t the reason the cute little brunette is a keeper. I could get a good message in my own church. After dinner, we opened gifts because we’re going to friends’ houses today.
She knows I like to work with my hands, and she knows I love the Rangers/RBVs and she knows I love to customize them with the lights and such. And she knows I’m a big kid. Check this out:

It’s the right color too! And after I figure it out, I’ve got a bunch of bins full of raw LEDs, the little light with just the pigtail wire leads coming off it. I’m going to call it the Rug Ranger!
And I can already envision a trailer, maybe a tow rig, maybe a….
