Josh, are you still running this thread? I have a question.

You know I’ve been promoting caffeine and octane (it’s on again this Sunday) and a couple other gatherings around me (Atlanta +/-), and I was wondering if you (or somebody) could put together a private message list, composed of the guys and gals who live in Georgia, North Alabama, Eastern Tennessee, western North Carolina, and maybe South Carolina. Basically a list of members within 150 miles of hot Atlanta.

I’m thinking if I could get that set up as a PM list, in addition to doing general post for the southeast, when I hear of events within striking distance, I could specifically alert those people. I could also poll those people for what they would like to do and then maybe look for it or put it together (with some help).

I know I could probably put this together from your list. I’m capable, but with my health issues, sometimes I have trouble keeping up with my own day-to-day stuff. But I love the club and the guys and the leadership, I love the idea of putting together a “Atlanta“ group, but as I’ve stated before, while that is my natural instinct, I just can’t do it alone anymore. I do know what to do, and how to get people together, if I could get some help. Hopefully a partner who also has leadership skills, so I could basically put it together and set up my replacement.

I know that may sound arrogant of me (well maybe I’m a little bit arrogant), but it’s with the most sincere interests.

I copied Eric and Jim for any feedback, all is welcome.

No offense, but I wouldn't want to be included on any such list. I'm just not that sociable of a person. Big forum events are the main ones I'd want direct notice of, and there's enough notices about those even without a PM. That's not to say I wouldn't go to something somewhat local (assuming I could get organized and enough free time to go), just don't care to get PMs about it. I'd rather you just post about any such events or plans in the open forum, then l jump in if interested.

I can only speak for myself though


Edit: I also don't think it's arrogant of you, I'm just not the right person to be assisting. It's just not my style. If we were talking biker clubs, I'd be wearing a lone wolf patch.
