Hi folks - first posting to TheRangerStation.comTM - woo-hoo! What a great website and resource.
I have a '98 2.3 Ford Ranger XL - using it for home rebuild reno transport, etc. What a great truck
. Best truck I've ever had (erm, the only truck I've . . .
- I should have bought it back in 1998 (I shouldn't have married my first wife too)).
Short story: Engine light orange, OBD II code is #1401 -or- "Differential Pressure Feedback Electronic Sensor circuit High Voltage." My very limited mechanical knowledge (i.e. Teh Google & TheRangerStation.comTM) indicates this is an ERG valve problem.
Any opinion, from a person(s) with advanced 1998 Ford Ranger mechanical insight & wisdom, as to how to help this hand-painted matte black automotive wonder, would be much appreciated.
G'day!
