the only progress that i have done is installed 78' f150 coil buckets with 79' f250 shock towers, 6in skyjacker coils. i was fooling around with her on holiday leave and the transfer case decided to crack. So when i get back home in may ill be swapping in a manual t-case with many other modifications and pictures! parked at my buddies buisness, his f350 8in lift 36's
Of course, my plans have changed totally yet again.. I'll be home starting on the 28th for a month so you'll see allot of progress! Here's all the parts and plans.
Dropping the coil buckets down a inch
1 1/2 .25 DOM and making a long arm setup. With Johnny joints and custom frame mounts. But I'm still debating on a 3-link still!
not sure on exact size yet, But I'm still going to run my 1-ton Chevy TRE just thicker DOM tubing.
Installing 5.13 gears with Air locker. Being locked front and rear while road driving SUCKS!!
Chevy 63' leaf swap with belltech 6300 shackles.
I figure with 6in full size springs, I'll have enough wheel travel to wheel with 35's no problem under normal wheeling.
Keep posted and I'll post lots of pics!! I miss the girl!
Here's the progress. I just have absolutely no free time to work on this dam thing!
I pulled the 5.13 locked gears out and installed the 4.55 locked ill see how these work on the rocks. Also I replaced every fuel line and fitting, And finished the brakes. So far I have the entire brake system replaced and the fuel system.
I have put my ranger on the back burner while finishing my F150 and getting her road worthy. I have to leave again, Headed back to base. But ill be home in a few months to finish the ranger.
