Mazda tail lights

First post in a couple years, but my question is will the tailights from the newer mazda pickups fit the older beds? Mine is a 94 and just lookin to update since there aren't any aftermarket tails available. The newer stx ranger lights also appear to be the same but not sure how many bulbs they use.

You could do this. I painted my first taillights with red Duplicolor Metalcast to get rid of the amber turn signals

How bright are your blinkers through the paint?

pretty much the same as normal from what I remember. there is no tint to the paint, just a clear translucent red

Ranger lights will not work in our Mazda beds the shape is different. Cosmetics in the body are the only difference from the Rangers. You could replace the whole box from a ranger but you will find the body lines will not match up.
