Mazda seats

Will seat brackets from a similar year ranger or explorer fit my Mazda? The ones that are in there now blow all size fuses up to a 20. With a 20 it smokes, pops, and lights up. Guy at the junkyard said there floor plans are different. Need to get rid of these electric hazards

I always thought that when it came to the Ranger based Mazdas that every single part was the same except for a few bolted on body parts. (Grill mainly.)

I know I've scrounged parts from similar year Mazdas for my Ranger. Even an axle shaft. You may have something else malfunctioning if you get smoke, sparks, flames, etc.

Well my dash lights have no power. The dome light stays on all the time. And the seats are ****ed. Its scary to move the seat.
