For not a long time ago I changed Clutch slave cylinder, pilot bearing and the big (first) input bearing on the transmission input shaft (front end repair kit).

Today the transmission started to make a noise in neutral. The noise is also there and when de-accelerating with clutch in/out. Maybe its there all the time the transmission is not clutch engaged in neutral, - can´t tell due to road noise...

I have started to wonder if the input bearing was setup to tight, - and is broken... Any ideas?

Did you replace the throw out bearing? I assue so as they normally have a new one on the slave clyinder itself.

Are you sure it's the trans? Check the heat shield on the catalytic converter ... they break loose quite often.

That was the first thing I thought too. Mine rattles.

If the input bearing wasn't right and/or broken you'd probably have some issues shifting.

Throw out bearing was new in the slave kit. The rattle sound follows RPM... Gonna check the heat shield.
