The SAS'd RBVs are starting to sound like a broken record. I have been looking at a TON of build threads any a bunch of past ORTOTM winners and just realized that everyone seems to be running a Straight Axle. Don't get me wrong my hat is off to those that have under taken the work and i understand the benefits but i just wanted to point out some of the guys rockin' Badass TTB's

such as

4X4Junkie

97Fordrunner

Viva*The*Ranger

and several more but these were easy to find

am i the only one who is think SAS' are overrated????

I would tend to agree, I have really wrestled with where I wanted to go with my truck, I love the idea of a solid axle and someday I will go there probably but I really wanna push the TTB and see what I can do with it. I think a lot of people are really working there TTB and doing it well, 86-slo-vo, 97TrailRigDD,Disciplerocks and most of the Turkey bay crew i'd say. I'd say those guys have the TTB figured out with a lot of guidance from 4x4Junkie. It all depends on tastes and driving style and right now i'm a cautious and easy on the throttle so not to worried about breaking much.

You do mean solid axle, correct? I used them on my 83 Ranger and my 86 Cherokee and my ealry Broncos. They are the beast things to use!! Convert your over and see the difference, Bro!!!!
