may seem like an odd question for a ranger site...

...but we're looking to get a van here in the near future. Looking for something '05-'06 or newer, but used. We've been looking at honda's, but of course they are kinda pricey. Ive been straying away from dodge cause of all of the past problems with transmissions and electrical. have they fixed this problem with 05 and newer models? what other manufacturers should we also look for?

hopefully once we get a van, i can start driving my wifes car and park the ranger to tinker with.

what about small suv's like the ford escape? we're wanting a vehicle that has 3 rows of seats (since the middle row will be occupied by car seats for awhile). a cpl friends of ours has one and they seem pretty nice, but not sure on the cargo space with that many seats. we would need a decent bit of cargo space for a wheel chair + dunno, baggage, groceries, purchased items, etc

We have a Toyota Sienna 2004 and we like it. It isn't optioned out too much. Power is there when you need it. Gas mileage is good. We have been averaging between 24-27mpg's overall. And it is quiet. You will look down and be like "Whoa, shit I am doing 80"

My friend and his family recently got a brand new Sienna after laughing at mine and he is echoing every sentiment and more(because his is more optioned)

I like the Honda. I also like the Kia and the Toyota but I am going SUV and probably a Jeep Liberty (because of the 6spd manual gearbox and CRD engine) all my kids are now in boosters, they take less room than full on baby seats.
