i have a 1999 ranger 4x4 and changing master clyinder and was wondering what the bleed screw on the side of master clyinder is for?
 
Are you changing the clutch master cylinder? Not the brake master cylinder? The clutch master cylinder has one for bleeding the clutch system.
 
no its on the brake master clyinder, i was trying to bench bleed it, and wonderimg what it was for
