Howdy again peps.
For the last week and a bit I've been running my truck with a 91 eec-iv to replace the one that is mostly corrosion.
Once it went it it promptly gave me a code 22 and a 122 Map sensor and TPS. I fixed the tps it is within the range of 0.95 to 4.87.
So I reset the computer and it now only reports map.
But my 1992 4.0 4x4 doesn't have a map sensor, the local dealer tells me it never had a map sensor. And the 91 is pretty much as far as I can tell the exact same truck.
How do I get the computer to stop reporting a sensor it never had. Or how do I put one on to get it to stop?
