I have an 89 bronco II and an 84 ranger.
I love the look of a choped bII. How hard is it to put one on a fsb chassis?
I dont really have the skills(yet) or cash to do a axles/engin trans swap on it.
I have searched but with no luck on how to proceed to do this to a ranger or bII..
How hard would it be to take the drive train from an fsb and stick it in a bronco II? I have a stripped down ranger and bronco.

I dont really want to lift the broncoII cause the frount axles are not that strong for the 35's I want to run.

Its a near bolt in process to put a D35 ttb in replace of your D28. PLenty of guys on here are running 35's on the D35 and with a few simple upgrades, it can be as strong if not stronger than a 44.

So is the d35 out of the full sizes or the xplorers?

Get the 31 spline 8.8" out of the same Explorer while your grabbing the front. The BII's 7.5" is probably a bit past it's limits with 35s as well.
