Yeah thats what I noticed that it's next to the exhaust but how would that be possible if the old system wasn't having that problem? Should I use the exhaust wrap? Or a heat shield?so than it has to be something in the hydraulic side of your system. does any of it run very close to the exhaust? maybe its getting warmed by exhaust and something weird is happening? i don't know if it could but i suppose its possible.
It would be best to start a new thread. More likely to have someone see itI know this is a super old thread but I'm desperate I've missed work all week over it. So it started being difficult to shift into 5th and reverse then it would be fine then started being difficult shifting into other gears at times. Monday I went to go to work and it would only shift into reverse. I had already ordered a clutch kit a couple months prior so I just started tearing I to it. I won't go into the nightmare details of all that but needless to say after finally getting everything back together last night and bleeding the clutch it won't engage (pedal still loose) and my shifter won't go into any gears. Tried starting it and it just lunches forward without the clutch engaging. The flywheel, pilot bearing clutch and pressure plate and slave cylinder are all new. Any help would be appreciated. I can't afford to miss anymore work I'm already going to be in trouble with no check coming next week

Did you find a solution? Same is happening to meHas anyone figured out a fix? I am having the same issue.
I have replaced the clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, new shifter bushings, replaced the transmission fluid, and bled the cutch....the truck still won’t go into gear. What am I missing!?!?
This was the original issue of why I started the project. The truck will start in neutral, but not go into gear while the engine is running. The truck won’t start when a gear is engaged.
