the transmittion in my ford ranger makes a wining noise when going down the road sounds like a bearing wining i replaced the clutch throwout bearing and it still makes this alfull niose its full of fliud need to know if anyone has any ideal what else can be causing this niose thanks

Mine was doing it, it had gear oil in it instead of Mercon ATF, which the manual calls for. I put the ATF in it, and it's quieter now, but still makes noise. Maybe change your fluid? I know I need a new tranny when I replace my clutch next due to what this one has gone through. You might be able to find a cheap tranny somewhere, try a junkyard. There is also a writeup in the tech library on how to tear down the tranny if you feel up to it.

sounds like input or output bearings. Does it make the noise in 4th gear? if so its fubar'd.
