Yeah, im sure im going to catch a lot of heat from this cause I was searching around and a lot of people were saying things like "what the hell do you want to swap that for" blahblah.....but ive always wanted to know how much work, how hard and such it would be

the vehicle i would be doing it in is a 1986 Nissan 720 (pickup) King Cab 4x4 with a 4cyl motor (but has 8 spark plugs)

if theres any information im missing that would be needed to answer my question please state and i will reply

Thanks all

ok, depending on the auto, you may need a throttle valve cable to the trans, and the ball crank to it, fly wheel, starter, trans cooler and lines, driveshaft, sometimes a cross member, floor shift?, if so floor shift mechanism, if column then a whole column, and maybe a couple other loos items in my head like the gas brake pedal assy to make it look official. Oh this is if its carbd if its efi then you may need some more.

New rad with tranny cooling lines...pilot bearing removal (or insertion...)...remove clutch pedal assembly and install only brake pedal assembly...

I went the other way...from auto to manual...much easier that way...less parts to find and make them work...
