manual to auto swap

would it be easier to swap out my manual 5spd to auto or to just buy another truck and sell this one??

I'm disabled and the clutch is a major pain for me,..

I bought it cause I got a great deal on it

Can it be done? Yes. Would I do it? No way. I'd sell it and and buy an auto.

If using the clutch is a big deal I'd say putting an automatic in would be even worse...

try to find a c5 trans....you wont have to worry about any computer stuff if you swapped that in

I am fixin to swap an auto for a 5 speed. I would be interested in swapping pedals and comp with you. And any other parts if needed. I already have a 5 sp to use. Mine is a 94 4.0 4x4

While it's doable, I'd think that if you are disabled to the point that you can't drive a stick, that actually doing the work of a trans swap would be at least equally problematic.

I don't know the exact nature of your disability, but when I pull trannies at home, I use my legs almost as much as I do my arms for jockeying heavier parts.

Well, it might not be cheap, but you will have less in that than buying a truck with an auto.
