I have lost 5 rugged ridge manual lockouts over the last 5 years on my 2000 ranger . anyone have any tips on how to better secure them? i tried finding warns with the plate that mounts behind the lugs but cant find anything newer then 97.

What is intended to keep them on?

You're obviously not using enough duct tape.

Are you sure they're falling off?... as pricey and easy to steal as they be, someone slimy might be helping themselves...?

But mechanically speaking, some sort of hose clamp would seem to be a minimal way to go... Otherwise some epoxy and wires, with the 2 or 3 (or 5) wires wrapped around the lugs and cinched down by the wheel should keep them in place.

You've probably already found out the hard way, that you can't run around very long with the RIGHT one missing, as the floppy half-shaft will give you the "Death Wobble" I detailed in another lengthy thread.
