Ok, Christmas is coming up really soon and I want to change over from my automatic locking hubs to a nice set of manual locking hubs. Only problem is I dont really know what I need to get. I have a 1997 Ranger XLT V6 4.0L, how can I tell what axle I have and can anyone help me out with a link to like exactly all the parts I would need to do this job?

Thanks,
Mike

You have a 1997 so you truck takes "Dana 35" hubs

Because you have a 4.0 you have a "Real" Dana 35 as opposed to
the "Hybred" (A special D35 housing with D28 gears inside it) used
on 4cyl and 3.0 Rangers, but even they use the same hubs.

Personally I include those when I sell a pair of hubs, I still don't
understand why Warn doesn't...
