Mans Best Friend

I got a basset hound puppy when i was 5, i had her for the last 15 years, i went out to the back yard a couple weeks ago only to find my best friend passed on in her dog house, her name was sarah

After getting over her loss i decided i needed to look for a new pal, i picked up Felon, a 2.5 year old Puerto rican Mastiff, he is 180 pounds and still growing, he is such a turkey

Yeah, I've got a cat. She's a cool cat, though.

She's 16 now so she wants to get out and hit the highway, I think.

This dog weighs 336#. I hope he's neutered or that lady might be in serious trouble.

I read that English Mastiff males tend to go 200+. I was thinking about getting one because I read that they are regal dogs and don't bark and yap and jump about.

I just can't see taking a rolled-up newspaper after a 250# dog.

i have a 2.5 year old male mastiff, he is a very well manoured dog, the only time he really barks is when we wrestle, (which he kicks my ass) he weighs 180, ten pounds more than i do, and he is still growing, he is great with kids and other dogs, as far as dicipline mastiffs are big attention wh*res, i find that if he does something i deem not acceptable, simply lockin him up in his kennel is punishment enough, and it seems to do the trick too

I miss my goob. He's a good dog. I just can't bring him up here because he's my parent's dog, and the landlord kinda frowns on non-caged animals.

Here is Molly Dog, she is dutch shepard mix. She is about 1yr old and was rescued by us about 6 months ago

oh man she is tiny. mine is 60-65 obviously winter and summer depending. and my buddies male 2 year old is like 70. but breed average male is 55-65 and female is 45-55. we got lucky with bigger than average. but my dogs grandfather was like 110lbs and 115 winter. thats a bigggggggggg gsp

i wouldn't mind her gaining a bit, she's too skinny now, but our vet does say he likes to see her thinner instead of bigger... and it's not like we don't feed her lol... the vet also thinks we're feeding her enough, 2 cups of food twice a day! i had a friend when i was growing up (we still talk to a certain extent) and they used to feed their yellow lab/mutt mix i believe is what it was 9 cups of food a day and he'd eat it all. they call him tank, and it fits him lol. he is still alive, but slowly dying

I have 3 hooligans of my own. A 1.5 yr old black lab, Abby, 1.5 yrs old boxer mix, Red, and my 7 month old jack russell, Molly. Please do take what I am about to say out of context, none of these dogs stack up too my dog that passed away last year, Dillon. I adopted him while stationed in the UK. He was there for me during the roughest time in my life, when my ex-wife left me. It makes me tear up just thinking about him.

My pit Bella shes 13 months old and 70 pounds now these are when she weighed 65 pound at 9 months

from a pup i would just always keep the bowl full of food so my dog learned to eat as much as she needed. but she also came from a family line of bigger dogs. and i have tried 3 different dog foods to finally get the right one for her. and after the change she gain another 5 lbs of muscle(well and running the hell out of her). she def isnt fat thats for sure. its not too often you see a fat gsp.

Here are my two about 4 months ago....They are both brothers and are Newfoundland/St. Bernard mixes... Their father was 215 lbs when he died...
