Well, by the arrow pointing to cyl one I am assuming that #1 is supposed to be on TDC.

If that is the case, then no. Looks about 90* off.

On the other hand, you could just rotate the firing order on the cap and make it work.
 
Yeah we are pretty close!

See where the #1 wire is on the distributor cap is? If the engine is on TDC the rotor should be pointing in that direction. Yours is pointing in the wrong direction (Is yours on TDC???). There are two TDC's so make sure you get the right one.

Here's a question to determine what you are actually asking:

Are you referring to the saying " The rotor should be pointing to the #1 cylinder when setting the timing" ?
 
oh man i am missing two cylinders i thought i was missing something :thefinger: okay i got it now thank you guys just had to get a :icon_idea: of it lol
