Today I decided to do a bit more work on the ranger. Removed the access plate to the wiper craw and OMG no wonder my floors are wet! The wiper crowl was nearly packed to the brim with leaves and dirt. My first though was to grab my camera and then my air hose. No sure why Ford didn't uses some kind of screen under the air grates? This is obviously has to be yearly maintenance for ranger owners.
Good news the driver side, I think is leak free? Also more air is coming out of the vents into the cab! The passage side has a drip from the ac/heater box. The could be because the water drain is blocked? Next order of business was to remove the old wet carpet and vinyl rug the P.O. put down. The floors look worse than they are. The need a light wire bushing and then POR-15 goes down! Happy ranger owner so far!
Lots of leaves!
