Maf location

Ok so my maf isnt hooked up and cant find the plug thatgoes into the maf i have looked everywhere and every wire leads to something hooked up.
Where does the maf wire harness come from?
As in from engine/computer to maf

I have a ’92 with a 4.0, but I’m assuming that the wiring might be roughly the same. If no one else comes back with an answer, I’ll try to check mine in the morning before work.

An 89 2.9L shouldn't have a MAF.

1989 2.9l used Speed Density system/software in the computer, so used a MAP sensor
It is usually located on the fire wall passenger side center, behind main wiring harness
It will have a Vacuum hose attached that goes directly to the upper intake manifold
And 3 wire connector
