I agree with weezl we need to show a bit of common courtesy which by the way has died on this site anytime Jammer posts something. I don't care how thick my skin has to be or how thick someone else's skin is, but I'm not going to jump on someone's back who asks me a question and or doesn't know how to spell, because God knows I'm not perfect either.

I try to help. Not that with my limited knowledge, I'm a lot of help. But it does make it a bit easier to figure out what's being asked if the question is understandable in the first place, and not conducive to giving one a headache.

i'm not disagreeing with you there jeff, but just because you found a way to deal with the crap you were dealt, doesn't make it right

and tom, i hear what you're saying too, but if the posts are really that bad... just carry on and let him be... there's plenty of people on this forum who i can't stand, people talking out their ass on the tech threads, on a regular basis, when you're walking someone through step by step to diagnose something, they come in and interrupt the process and screw it all up... i just stay clear of the threads they are posting in. It's not worth insulting someone or looking like an ass over

honestly, does making fun of someone have some reward for you? do you get a free beer or a pat on the back every time you call someone a dumbass or a retard or any other name or make a derogatory comment? (i'm not directing this specifically at you) if it doesn't, why bother? maybe they can take it... maybe they SHOULD be able to take it... but does that mean that they a) can, and b) need to?

it's certainly not an atmosphere that we need to portray on this site, and i'm sure the admin would agree with me... this is NOT the way to grow the community, nor the way to display the people who drive a vehicle that is slated for discontinuation... if we are all a bunch of assholes, do you think ford is going to keep catering to our needs by producing a truck for us? it's all about perception
