still needs some lights and a few more tabs for some other goodies

not bad...i wish i could get bored like you, but i would get in a lot of trouble and be in debt

You should run a thin bar across the center of the two upright posts on top, that way you can have lights under the bar and still be able to carry ladders, long boards, and whatnot on the rack.

looks good...

definately need a couple lights that are at least rearward facing...

don't really think you need any facing forward though

yea gunnaget some foreward and rear facing lights...

All the headache racks I've built vibrated pretty badly when going down the road without some sort of additional bracing:

yea id like to run some bars or bracing like that back a little further just havent decided how im going to do it yet lol...it does vibrate a little not enough to notice though yet

but i do agree it needs something

How do you guys attach these to the bed?
Bolts in side or top?
Is stake pocket used?

i just used 2 inch angle on the corner of the bed and ran several self tapping screws into the bed

Nice, I made mine in abou that amount of time but its a little more high tech and I fogot to brace it and get goin in the 55-60 range and it rattles pretty good. But bed rails right up tight to it, that helped alot for sure.
