What is the proper m5r1 shifter bushing assy order? Looks like wave washer, washer with 3 little tabs pointing up, lower blue plastic bushing, shifter stub, upper blue plastic bushing, washer with 3 little tabs pointing down, wave washer, gasket, metal retaining plate and three torx head screws...is this correct?

All the trucks I pulled my parts from seemed to be missing parts and all assembled differently.

I also would like the skinny on this search. I found an exploded assembly over on drivetrain.com. If you figure out what parts are needed, please post all info: Looks like you've named what is in the assembly. Does the shifter stub really wear much?

Got a bigger version of that pic? Can't reallly make out what the pieces are in the shifter pivot area. The stubs I found yesterday at the wreckers, most were in good shape but a few were worn from running without the plastic bushings in there. :icon_twisted:

Just checked out www.drivetrain.com and that is the pic size....good info but not enough to answer this question.

I just dealt with this a few weeks ago.

Tabbed washer
circular shim
upper bushing
shifter stub
lower bushing
circular shim
tabbed washer.

Now that I look again...

Looks like how it has to go on mine because the wave washer won't fit inside the tabbed washer. I have parts from several different trucks and all the same won't fit inside the tabbed washer.

Tabbed washer

upper bushing
