hey guy i have been searching on this sight and havent compleatly found my answer yet but i have a 2000 ranger 4.0 4x4 and my trans is on the way out and im looking for one to rebuild and swap so i can limit my down time and i have found 2 out of 91 explorers 4x4 and im just wanting to make sure they will swap i wasnt sure about the transfer case mounting i think the rest should be ok

It'll work.
Only thing you have to do is get a freeze plug for the speedo gear hole if its 2wd, other wise its good.
