So from driving this 5sp I feel I am in a WWII era movie, the trans whine and increased harmonics from rpm sounds like an old willys jeep. Am I missing something?

I would be lying if I said I knew what it looked like, tbd this weekend. Then a full fluid change with fresh atf, from what I’ve seen 3rd gear synchro uses a friction material on the inner surface makes sense about the atf.
