Replacing the clutch, master & slave cylinders, flywheel on a 90 ranger 2.3.
My questions are about the brands available through advanced auto. For the slave cylinder, the brand that pops up first is Perfection. It has horrible reviews, and the alternative is Wagner for about 30$ more. Anyone know if the hydraulic line from Perfection will fit the slave from Wagner, and is it worth the extra few dollars for the Wagner? I would like to avoid doing this again for as long as possible.
I haven't done much work on vehicles, mostly normal stuff like brakes, power steering pump, alternator...simple stuff. So I'm sure I've overlooked a few things. Any other suggestions as to what I should investigate while the trans is out? Any suggestion as to another supplier to get reasonably priced parts/kits with quality parts? My local advanved auto doesn't have anything I need in stock, so waiting for shipping isn't a big deal.
Thanks in advance.
