So the FSM shows a special tool to press on the rear mainshaft ball bearing. I see in the Tech Library there's ways to get it off without special tools, (I made a puller so I didn't have to use a hammer), is there a way to get it back on without hammering the heck out of my thrust bearing at the front and without the special tool?
If I slide the bearing up past the threads, is the nut/threads strong enough to pull it in?
