so i have a 93 ford explorer with an m5od 5 speed manual. i had the clutch t/o bearing and slave replaced about 8 months ago and all was good until maybe a month ago. it started to grind when putting it into first. it stopped for a while, and it started back up again even worse. noticed my fluid was a little high so i drained some and it went away. now today it started again, except now it will grind in neutral if i have my foot on the clutch. it will go away as soon as i lift my foot off the pedal and give it some gas.
so basically now it will do this in neutral, foot on the clutch, rolling, stopped. it will also grind when im moving, clutch applied in gear. the grinding will go away when i lift my foot off the pedal or give it gas, in all scenarios where the grinding starts
edit: it doesnt do this ALL the time. usually when its hot and its been restarted, and sometimes it will only happen when double pumping the clutch when starting in 1st to 2nd, but goes away as soon as i gas it. the sound will start out slow, reach its peak within like 2 or 3 seconds, and *gas pedal* goes away. or press clutch pedal again and it goes away.
