Does anybody know what the large nut in the output shaft and the 32 mm nut on the counter shaft are supposed to be torqued to? From what I can tell the nut just holds everything on the shaft, so the torque wont effect the bearings since every thing is inline on the same shaft with nothing to tighten against. The preload on the bearings is determined by the inward pressure put on the outer races by the aluminum retainers which cant be changed since they are just bolted solid to the tranny's case anyway.

Output shaft locknut 160-202 ft/lbs is what all data says.

Does it sat what to torque the nut on the counter shaft to or the 12mm bolts holding the tapered roller bearings in?
