Hey guys, new to the forum here
I did some digging around and couldn't find what i was looking for. My apologies if this is a re-post.
I've been looking everywhere for what type of bolts I need for the M50D-R1 housing to block. I've got a 98 4.0 4x4 5 speed Ranger, the transmission was dropped and there are no sub-frame bolts, or tranny housing bolts.

2425 I can't help ya at the moment but I will be swapping out my M5 in the next week or so. If you still need the info then I'll let you know what mine has in it. Sorry...:dunno:

Can't help you much with exact specs but if I remember right there are four longer ones and four shorter ones... the short ones go on the bottom through the oil pan, maybe 1-1/2 long and the others are about 2" long. All are metric. I think they are either 10mm or 12mm coarse thread.

You can determine the length by measuring the bell housing thickness and adding 12-14mm to the length all bellhousing bolts on a 4.0 are 10mmX1.5
