M50D-R1 2nd gear

Hey guys, second gear grinds when the rpms are up there. Standard wear or worth taking a look at? Also any idea's on howmuch a rebuild would run me just in case?

my rebuild unit ran me 1,100. 2nd had went out on mine also.it started being hard to get in/out of 2nd and was noisy while in 2nd. not long after it started having issues with 2nd it failed altogether. trans had low fluid level when i bought the truck, dont know if that had anything to do with it, it failed a year and a half after it was bought. had 80K on it at the time. replaced clutch and slave while it was apart. ON EDIT: i guess i should clairify, i bought a rebuilt unit, i didnt have my trans itself rebuilt. (500 core b.t.w.)
