Okay, I've come to the conclusion after reading these forums that I want a M50D tranny to swap into my 90 Supercab seeing as my FM146 doesn't want to give me the option of using overdrive and reverse anymore. My question is: Is this tranny the same length as the 146 and does it bolt directly in without any driveshaft modifications? Forgive me if this has been asked a thousand times before but I can't find this info in black and white. Thanks for any info.

The M5OD and FM146 are the same length, and will bolt right up assuming they are from the same engine.

The FM-145 is, however, 2" shorter.
