Well, with the cover on I go 332 miles per tank and with the cover off I go 325 miles per tank. That is when I drive all highway miles. I have checked this several times a year and I have had the cover for over 9 years now. My wife is a math teacher and she always checks our gas milage on all the vehicals. I do love the cover when I need to use it. Regular driving I usually gas up at 300 miles on a tank and still have a few gallons left in the tank (17 gallon tank). But when I am on the road back and forth from Ocala and Lithia I can tell the difference with the cover on. I never have driven with the tailgate down before. I have several friends who said they tried the tailgate up and down and they claim that with the tailgate up they get the same miles per tank as with the tailgate up...so I just don't understand that at all. Mythbusters did prove that the tailgate down was not really working for better gas milage...maybe it is just some peoples trucks just maybe want to work better that way? Who knows!!

I'll post mileage after my next fill-up. I never go until the light comes on... bad for the fuel pump to be ran that low anyways.

Miles: 209.8
Fuel to fill tank: 12.065

Fuel mileage: 17.38914214670535 mpg

Latest mileage from arctic cat factory to just south of st. cloud: 21.4 mpg!
