My Luk clutch kit came with two "extra" parts I don't recognize. One is a small (maybe 1/2" diameter) o-ring, and the other is a 1-1/2" or so circular retaining clip or spacer.

I haven't run across either of these parts (yet) in my teardown, and I'm about to install the new clutch. Can anyone tell me what these are for? (I haven't put the slave in the trans yet - I'm guessing maybe I'm gonna find older, sadder versions of these two in there, but figured I'd ask first...)

Thanks!

sounds like the replacement o-ring for your hydraulic line, and the disconnect tool for said line.

Yeah, the o-ring is prolly for the hydraulic, but the clip/spacer is definitely not a tool... It's just a round spring stock deal.

thats the new clip for the throwout bearing. but seeing as you put a new slave in, and it came with a throwout bearing, you don't need that springy clip. You would use it if you were only changing the throwout bearing, and not the slave (who doesn't change the slave on a ranger when its apart anyways? lol)
