My credo
Crossed threads are tight threads.
What is this? I have never heard of it until reading racerangers build thread....and it sounds awesome.

I grew up motoing and wheeling places like Gorman, Jawbone, Dove Springs, El Mirage, Pismo dunes....and never heard of Lucerne, despite passing it many times (en route to vegas or havasu), until my 1st visit to the dry lake bed recently. I didnt get to explore much (was helping a friend do a film/photo shoot, and post repair testing my ranger), but definitely plan to (after the rangers complete, again)!

This night race has me very intrigued, probably not to compete, but maybe participate, and definitely spectate....

Anyone savvy w/ the scene, please tell me more....

here you go. its usually a great time! unfortunately due to the rescheduling it clashes with some other plans i have so i cant make it.
theres links on the page for start/ finish location and if you have some sort of gps file viewer you can down load the gps version of the course map for free so that you can go find somewhere to watch on your own.

keep in mind. its and open desert and a live course with not much security and or direction. if you do venture off along the course (which i suggest you do!) keep your head on a swivel in case you accidentally end up on course.
be careful and most importantly have fun!

Sounds like my cup of tea, Im not a fan of security or direction, I am plenty capable of providing my own, and yes head on a swivel minimizes the need for excessive amounts of either. Those things ruined some of the things I used to enjoy, and this could be one of my new things...
