LS swap on a '99 Ranger, is that crazy?

I really want to swap my 4.0 L out for an LS motor. Though (obviously) I have not a clue if it's feasible, let alone reasonable. Any clue where I should start research?
 
It's been done by a LOT of people. Google will yield all you want to read. Not all forum threads end up with a finished truck though. As with any ambitious engine swap... But Instagram, Facebook, etc all have a lot of people doing this swap that you can reach out to for advice and questions. There should be a few Facebook groups that have a lot of LS Rangers in them. Even though I can't stand FB...
