LP44 carrier in a HP44?

Have a 78' HD HP44 with 3.54 gears. Was told had 4.11 when purchased. 3.73 is the carrier break. I have a LP44 from 76' with 4.11 gears. Can I use the carrier from one to the other? Thanks.

Or new "thick" 4.11s. I have my 5.14s on a on a high gear carrier, just bought the thick gear set.

Maybe RANGERROD you didn't notice or can't READ but he says he has a carrier from a Lp44 from a 76 with 411 gears that why I said the carrier will work in a hp not the gears. Maybe reread it again slowly with a cup of tea and put some glasses on it might take a couple of times but you'll get it.
PS. Just so you don't get confused again RANGERROD the gears will not work, a they say you can learn something new everyday.

The 3series carrier won't work unless you want to buy thick cut gears like stated above that's what I meant. I made the assumption the op wanted to go to 4.11 gears.

And 93 I think I might know a few more things than you and your pep boys pimp my ride ranger. So go suck it. By the way no way that's 12" of lift and if it is big gay truck land is calling your name.
