Search for the "shackle flip" mod. Basically, you drill out the rivets that attach the rear leaf spring shackles to the frame, flip the shackle over 180 degrees, and reattach to the frame using grade 8 hardware. It will lower the rear about 2", and only costs what you spend on the hardware. (shackles like to rust out on these trucks, so you may want to replace your shackles with new ones while you're in there)

I just did the hanger flip on my 94 2WD based on advise on this forum. Worked perfect for what I wanted to do. Two holes were @ 1/2" so I drilled them all to 1/2" and used 1 1/4" X 1/2" bolts, 16 SAE flat washers and all steel lock nuts. Cost less than $15 from Fastenal. I used a cut-off wheel and drill to get the rivets out. Labor intensive but great results. Front is now @ 1/2" lower than rear.
