low oil warning

Just wandering on a 99 f15o withg tge 4.6 if it was real low on oil if the engine light would fkash. Ny boss said his powerstroke did it and kinda shut the motor down to keep it from blowing up. I put oil in it and the cel no longetwr flashes under accel. Or regular driving.

Your boss's powerstroke shut down with low oil because the injectors run off of high pressure oil. Engine can't run without enough oil.


Your's I dunno. But a flashing CEL is a misfire.

When I put it on a comp at autozone, it said nothing about a missfire. I thot it was a missfire too. Idk tho.
