Hi everyone,
I am having problems with a low idle in my '03, 4.0 Liter Ranger. When I am at a stoplight or parked, often times the rpm drops suddenly from around 1100 to 500. The truck often ends up shaking and sometimes stalls out.
Got these codes from the auto part store's diagnostic set:
P2195 - O2 sensor stuck lean, Bank 1
P2197 - O2 sensor stuck lean, Bank 2
P0171 - System too lean, Bank 1
P0174 - System too lean, Bank 2
P0300 - Random/Mulitple Cylinder misfire detected
P0316 - Misfire detected 1st 1000 revs
Going from suggestions on other threads, I cleaned the MAF sensor but the idle problem didn't change. What should I be looking at next?
My knowledge of vehicles isn't too great, but I am hoping that between here and my Haynes manual I'll be able to avoid an expensive trip to the mechanic's.
Thanks!
