low idle miss on a 94 ranger 2.3 5 speed

I have a 94 ranger 2.3 with a very low idle miss.The miss will clear up and the truck runs fine after 1000 rpms. can this be the fuel pump?

Fuel pump will usually fail and the engine will not run, or it will stop occasionally as you are driving until it finally gives up. Start simple and replace cheaper things like fuel filter first. Low speed miss probably is a plug misfire or maybe a bad plug wire. There are alot of things that can cause these little problems.

Might be some sort of a vacuum leak check all of your vacuum lines if they are good check to see if the EGR valve is stuck open.
